Do You Know the difference between a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a Resume?

It took me years before I knew the difference but let me break it down for you. The concept of the résumé (French for "summary") has been around for centuries! Some sources credit  Leonardo da Vinci with creating the first known resume in 1482 when he presented a written summary of his skills to a Duke in Milan.  But how does a resume differ from a CV? Well, let me explain it. - A resume is a concise document typically 1-2 pages long, summarizing your skills, experiences, and accomplishments tailored to a specific job. - A CV is much more comprehensive and can include several pages, especially in academic or research fields, detailing the complete work history, publications, and accomplishments.
